“It smells of coolant”
So two bottles of stop leak and 5 gallons of anti freeze should do it.

I bet it’s one of those hinged wing windows for the kids in the trunk. Nothing some cardboard and duct tape couldn’t fix.

Oh, that’s sweet.

Much of our old cars are rust free as most of this state is very dry.

It is. He’s referring to this window. Plastic hinge breaks. It’s an easy fix.

I did a bad job describing it, I now realize.
Those metal hinges in silver go under the trim plastic. They’re not quite as flimsy as they look. But, y ank slightly too hard and they tear pretty easy.

The latch still holds onto the glass though, right? The glass doesn’t usually just completel y fall off , does it?

Oh, of course not! That would only happen with a terrible design!
This is a terrible design.

“smells of coolant” = “needs heater core replaced”
